Kim & Emma’s Vibrant Warwick House Wedding - Warwick House Wedding Photographer

Smoke Bombs, Music & Pure Joy at Warwick House

From the first time I spoke to Kim and Emma, I knew their wedding was going to be completely up my street. Their energy was infectious, and when they mentioned musical instruments, smoke bombs, and sparklers, I knew they were bringing the party with them.

On the morning of the wedding, things didn’t disappoint. Emma had always planned a busy, buzzing morning, while Kim had hoped for something a little calmer… but her friends and family clearly had other ideas. Both rooms were full of people, laughter, and that wonderful pre-wedding excitement,  with Kim’s friends even starting things off with a few mini drink bombs.

One of my favourite things about the morning is getting to know my couples better. I loved hearing Kim and Emma’s story — and, for once, both versions almost matched (although I’m pretty sure Emma said Kim did most of the chasing!). Their morning gifts to each other were perfect and showed just how well they know one another, here were plenty of tears and smiles all around.

Their bridal entrance was one for the books,  the biggest group I’ve ever seen walking down the aisle, which made for some incredible drone shots over the stunning grounds of Warwick House. The ceremony itself was beautiful, full of emotion, sunshine, and laughter. One particularly touching moment was Kim sharing a quiet few seconds with her mum before watching Emma and their child walk down the aisle, pure magic.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception in the sunshine before heading in for speeches. Now, I don’t usually talk too much about speeches, but Emma’s dad deserves a special mention,  he delivered a world-record-breaking one-hour speech! He was absolutely on fire… until Ethan, his grandson, politely informed him he was boring,  a priceless moment that had everyone in stitches.

The afternoon celebrations carried on in the gardens, kicking off with a very competitive bouquet toss, followed by an impromptu tug-of-war that brought total chaos (and loads of laughs). Then came the smoke bombs,  and Warwick House was soon surrounded by clouds of colour. It looked incredible.

By now, the energy was sky-high and it was time to hit the dance floor. Emma, being a trained dancer, had set the bar high for their first dance — and the two of them absolutely nailed it. It was the perfect way to kick off an epic night of dancing, laughter, and love.
