Sophie & Faith’s Wedding at Rothley Court Hotel
Sophie and Faith’s wedding at the beautiful Rothley Court Hotel was one I’ll never forget. In the lead-up to the day, they’d become two of my most regular social media supporters, always liking my posts, which is always lovely to see. It’s a great sign that they were genuinely excited about me capturing their big day.
Faith chose to get ready at the venue, surrounded by her family and plenty of morning energy (and laughter!). Sophie, on the other hand, made a stylish entrance in a classic white American Cadillac, arriving a little earlier to enjoy a drink with guests before the ceremony. Both mornings had such different vibes, equally full of excitement and emotion.
Faith also managed to sneak in a few surprise photos for Sophie while she was getting ready, something I know Sophie will absolutely love.
The ceremony took place in the stunning church that’s part of Rothley Court — honestly one of the most hidden gems I’ve come across in years. The light in there was just incredible; soft, warm, and full of atmosphere, the kind of light photographers dream about.
As expected, the ceremony was packed with emotion, plenty of tears and even more laughter. It was one of those moments where everything just came together perfectly: the light, the setting, and the love between two amazing people.
After the ceremony, we headed outside for some traditional group photos, confetti, and drinks in the grounds. The guests were lively, the drinks were flowing, and it was the perfect autumn afternoon for a wedding.
Speeches brought more laughter and happy tears, with both brides saying a few heartfelt words. It was clear to everyone just how much these two mean to each other.
As the autumn sun began to set, we headed out for some couple portraits, and wow, the light did not disappoint. We were treated to the most beautiful golden tones, and Sophie and Faith were absolute naturals in front of the camera.
With romance and sunset vibes in full swing, it was time to hit the dance floor, and it didn’t take long to fill! But the fun didn’t stop there. The evening ended in spectacular fashion with fireworks and some bubble fun, the perfect finale for the day, and, of course, a fitting end for a proud West Ham fan!
